A free consult is an opportunity to tell your whole story and your opinion of why a current health concern might be happening. Every person sits across from me with no distractions, no nurses taking your blood pressure, no paper robes and a full hour of my attention and expertise. At the end of the consult I will offer you my suggestion for the best treatment strategy. That may include becoming a patient of my practice, it may not. If you are not the right fit for my practice there is a high likelihood I will know the right careprovider and will probably have a contact name and number ready. Everyone walks away from a consult with me with more information about their health concern and how best to begin treatment.
Instead of sitting down in front of your computer and Googling how Chinese Medicine might be helpful for you, come in and talk with me. The internet definitely won’t be able to address all your unique concerns. I am a human being trained to notice subtleties like body language, expression, quality of voice, smells, and behaviors. I recognize that each person is a complicated mix of individual lifestyle factors, hereditary issues and emotional background. You are more than a diagnosis!

- An integrated awareness of the systems of your body and how they relate to your symptoms. My working and experiential understanding of anatomy is rather unusual and I love to teach patients about their body using my favorite anatomy textbooks so they can visualize the healing process.
- Education about the definition of ideal health. Sometimes the first step toward health is understanding where the body is ill and what parts of the body are strongest. When people feel empowered and knowledgeable about the signs and behaviors of their own body they better know how to monitor health.
- All the encouragement you need to seek the greatest levels of comfort and ease of the body. Too many people out there are suggesting we should put up with good enough. I am here to say we should strive for complete comfort!
